The Tiny Tree A Honolulu Theatre for Youth Production. Embark on an unforgettable adventure! Blast off with Matt and his dad aboard Roger Rocketship as they explore distant galaxies. When their spaceship malfunctions, they land on a mysterious planet and discover a magical blue seed. Filled with upbeat songs, delightful creatures, and exciting adventures, this enchanting tale teaches the importance of caring for our planet and each other. This free 30-minute event is suitable for ages 2 and up. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library of Hawai‘i. Additional support provided by the Hawaiʻi Department of Land and Natural Resources.

Lei making workshop at Waianae District Park
Workshop is free and open to ages 7 years and up. Ages 10 and younger must be accompanied by an adult at all times during the workshop. There will be limited materials and supplies on that day, therefore, we highly recommend bringing your own pruning shears and any additional greenery or flower materials you may have. AARP Tax Aide
Beginning on February 4th, free tax prep services will be provided by certified AARP volunteers. This service is on a walk in, first come first served basis. The service is on Wednesdays from 8am to Noon. The last day the service will be provided will by on April 8th.

Kids Easter Event at Kapila Gardens
Tickets $20 Children under 2 are free. Egg hunts, games, and face painting. Food and drinks will be available on site for purchase. Meet animals, kittens, mini pigs, goats, chickens, bunnies, and puppies.

Keiki surf contest founded by the “Queen of Mākaha” Rell Sunn at Mākaha Beach Park.
Family Funtime
Keiki and their ohana are invited to join Wai’anae Public Library for a fun-filled storytime where we read books, sing and dance, and make crafts. This story-time is aimed at ages 3-5, but all ages are welcome. All children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

This carnival-style event is aimed at supporting students and families by promoting wellness, resilience and community.
Honolulu Community Action Program (HCAP) Leeward District
Pet Kōkua by Hawaiian Humane Society is happy to announce our next community pet wellness clinic! It will be taking place at the Honolulu Community Action Program (HCAP) in Waianae right next to the Waianae Boat Harbor. **DISCLAIMER:** If you have already visited our clinic in the past year and your pet is not a kitten or puppy (under 1 years old), please do not sign up as we want to ensure everyone has a chance to bring their pets in. We want to emphasize that we are only providing vaccinations and microchip services to those who need them, as slots are limited. Register for a complimentary pet service at HCAP in Waianae only by Appointment!

Hoa' Aina O Makaha
U-Pick Farm to Basket -Come harvest fruits and vegetables, kōkua our mahi‘ai, spend time with your 'ohana, connect with community, and enjoy being on 'āina together. Our U-Pick events are free and open to the public (no pre-registration required), we welcome donations for the produce, plant starters, and value-added products you take home. Take what you need, give what you can. All are welcome, hele mai!
